Rich, I think that post belongs on the metaposting thread...
Anyway, finished Tanya Huff's Summon the Keeper, now I'm reading the sequal, The Second Summoning... which, if anything, is even funnier than the original. Read these books... if only for the cat (who talks), read them!

Finished the Spillane book, zipped through an unauthorized bio of the WWF's Chyna, and now reading WINESBURG, OHIO by Sherwood Anderson.

Oooh...forgot about this thread...I'm finishing up Harry Turtledove's Ruled Britannia and then I'm moving on to I don't know what...maybe a re-read of George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire (which all fans of Fantasy fiction MUST READ!!!)...I've also been re-reading the Planetary TPBs and Avengers Forever...heh...

You're so right Jax. A Song of Fire and Ice. I'm halfway through the collected part three (of which I currently can't remember the name I'm afraid). It's a welcome change to "Lets form a group and go off to fight evil" that seems to be dominating Fantasy. Do you know what comes after part three and if it's already published, because none of the bookstores around here seem to have part four...
And I'm also rereading Thief of time by Terry Pratchett and just finished Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.

Days of Blood and Fire, #7 of Katherine Kerr's novels of Deverry and the Westlands...
This is a nicely written series, with and interesting twist... you're not just getting one story, you're getting several, because the main story follows several souls as they are reincarnated over and over again. It's sucked me in completely so far (7 books worth, and 3 more to go).
I blame Tyle for this one, she loaned me the first book in the series...

usmu: Part Three is A Storm of Swords. Part Four, A Feast for Crows is due sometime this year, though it's already late because it was SUPPOSED to be published in April in the UK and then here in the States a month later...
